KAIU began with a simple frustration: that the tools we use for the ritual of a good drink are so rarely made with the same care as the drink itself. What started with a single lathe and a stack of reclaimed timber has become a small studio dedicated to one idea — that a bar tool should be considered, not just functional, and built to be handed down rather than replaced.
